Fabulous food. Excellent Service. Relaxing ambiance. Nick's Next Door is one the best dining experiences you will ever have.
There is good and then there is great; Nick's is great!! My wife and I have been doing date night there for three years and every time is just as good as the last. The staff is awesome, the food is great and the location is perfect. It really is the "go to" spot in Los Gatos.
The Abalone was fantastic. Everything else Is mediocre. Steak could have been good but I ordered it medium rare and it came out with just a touch of pink in the very center. It was medium well at best. Terrible way to cook a ribeye.
Wonderful environment, great service and the food was amazing. Our 43rd wedding anniversary dinner was great!���

I would love to say how much we love this place. From the wait staff to the great food to the bartender Jake, who we met for the first time, this place is great. But if I said all this, reservations would be a month out.
