I am absolutely shocked and appalled at the mistreatment and lack of care my children and I received at this hospital yesterday. Dr. Castaneda lacks any concern for the welfare of a patients health or needs.
My daughter was transferred via the life flight ambulance down to Nicholas Children’s Hospital after receiving quite poor care at West Boca. She was in critical condition and just had been intubated when the team arrived and once they did I knew without a doubt we made the best decision possible having her transferred there. The entire health system failed my son and now he is Forever 16! My son was a patient of Dr Burkes and not even a phone call from him after my son unexpectedly died 7 weeks after he performed surgery!! Every doctor there told me he was going to be fine. Now I wake up everyday without my only son! Forever heartbroken! I am so sorry my sweet son that I trusted these doctors �����
We constantly fall through the cracks. Left on our own too often. Harassed over our service dog.
Amazed how the staff has been going above and beyond to keep all the families comfortable during the storm. Many of them have been away from their loved ones and family to be here taking care of us.
