Horrible!!!! Misdiagnosed, missed a blood sugar of 40 and just can’t stand this ER!!
In the ER they told me that blood work, CT scan and EKG was normal. MyChart loads all our testing and that doctor lied straight to my face. Piedmont Newton, any Piedmont hospital, has gotten worthless! Dr.Giberson isn't worth the money he makes. I asked for another doctor because he misdiagnosed me in December. I ended up having emergency surgery because of his lack of being able to read a CT scan report. He simply told me that that that I could not get another doctor which I know by law I can.
ER took way too long to put staples into my son’s arm
RecommendedThis is for the Emergency Department. The majority of the ED staff is very nice and gives great customer service. We understand that sometimes staff is overwhelmed and/or overworked, but they do apologize for things that happen. The wait to get back into a room was ridiculous, and it would be helpful if the staff would smile a little bit more. Danielle was our nurse and she was very competent and professional. I was in the Knox Surgical Center today. The ENTIRE staff/volunteers that I encountered was beyond friendly and encouraging! They made sure I was 100% comfortable and informed the entire time. And to top off the customer service they brought me a sweet treat since tomorrow is my birthday. Their kindness and unexpected gesture almost made me cry!
How does this hospital manage to get a whole new makeover but still have people being called back only to be seated at the side in the walkway??? This is totally disgusting and you people make way too much money for this crap!!
