Proficient staff and so far quick services
After a 5 hour living nightmare at Piedmont Rockdale, I will spare you the details, we left and drove straight to Newton. My husband and ALL patients here seem to be treated with care and compassion and after only a few hours, we're awaiting his test results. i know Piedmont owns a lot of hospitals, but not all Piedmont hospitals are equal. Go where compassion and common sense is apparent. Go to Piedmont Newton.
I sat there for almost 5 hours Monday night to be told my sons leg was not broken or fractured that it was just swollen to keep ice on it. With him being in pain for 2 days listening to the doctors orders I came to children’s where they confirmed it is fractured thank for nothing Newton
The staff has been amazing but the hospital is so nasty. It’s embarrassing for piedmont to have the money they do and treat people in nasty environment. The person I visited was in an ICU room which you would think would be one of the cleanest. It looked like something from the 60’s that hasn’t been cleaned since the 60’s
all the nurses on the 4 floor are great people helpful and nice
I went to the Emergency room yesterday with difficulty breathing. I have been treated with the utmost respect and kindness by everyone. Yes they moved a little slowly in some areas, but it wasn't to the point of annoyance. I understand that with the recent transitions and building improvements, there are going to be some growing pains. And the phlebotomist who drew my blood and got a blood gas reading is a PRO!
