I was there last night with my Granddaughter it took them 4 hours to get her taken care of. She had a cut over her eye she is only 18 months old this particular experience with the hospital was horrible
I had to be admitted here on 7/2/17 for abdominal pain. It turned out that I had appendicitis. From my stay in the ED, to the staff on the fourth floor, and all the surgical staff I did not have any complaints. The entire staff went about and beyond to treat me with respect and compassion. They were very thorough in all of their explanation of what I needed to expect and consistently made sure that I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on. These people clearly do not care. No one speaks to you, you are basically forgotten until you're called, and everyone walks around with a nonchalant attitude ignoring you aa you're in hallway waiting.
I was in the hallway bed, it's sad to say the nurses and staffs don't speak to no one. They look at you like you are a infection disease patient. But the doctor I had that day constantly keep asking me were I was Ok, or still in pain. I can honestly say he really shown some concerns for me, but my daughters don't want us to go back there, because of the staffs. They wasn't professional at all. My honest opinion, Piedmont Newton, y'all really need to retrain your staffs for consumers service.

From the time I walked in to the Knox Surgical Center wth my husband for surgery until we left we received excellent care. Thank you Mary Jo who handeled all the intake info in the pre-op area, to Ron and both anesthesiologist to Dr. Craig and the nurses in post op. Outstanding care throughout the process.
The staff does not listen. They don't share information. They all ask the same questions as they type on their computer. My husband has a heart condition,he is very depressed. And he was asked 3 times by 3 different employees about a DNR. For Real People. You don't ask an already depressed person because their heart is failing 3 times about a DNR. Once is good enough. They staff never once in 9 hours, he was admitted after 3 if he would like something to drink. Brought him his meds and he had to ask for water. The nurse acte... read more
The whole staff was wonderful to me and my husband Just loved all the people that helped me.
