A great great place. I will most definitely return to Newport Beachside. The combination of the ocean and a pool is fantastic. The bar drinks are pricey, but there is a daily special. Rooms are cleaned daily. Very international which was cool. Day trips can be arranged through the hotel. The spa was wonderful. Visit the concierge with any questions all were helpful.
We come here ever year for Mother's Day weekend and love it!!
If I could give you negative stars, I would.. Our "upgraded" room was filthy with stains on the carpet, one of them was blood, broken curtain wand, plaster missing from the walls, a broken door to the patio, and a filthy couch! We had to ask to get the room cleaned, and the personnel constantly pressured us to buy a timeshare.. Seriously, vacation in Hawai'i!
This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Yes worse than Motel 6. Aside from the rude employees our room had water damage & black mold on the ceiling, a rusted out smoke alarm nozzle, stuck on dirt on the floor, peeling paint on the ceiling, missing pull on the dresser. The list goes on. Please be careful & pay attention to the reviews.

Better off staying in a Motel 6 in downtown Detroit. Rooms smell like moldy ass!
Great experience at Newport! The beachfront location with the pool, outdoor tiki huts, and access to pier is AWESOME. We enjoyed some gorgeous sunrises, sunsets and beach time here! The entire staff was helpful and accommodating.
