How can a hospital not protect its staff and then suspend a nurse who cared enough to do something about it? Gross.

Suspended staff for providing the PPE the hospital administration could not. This is a crisis, if you cannot properly protect your staff, do not attack them for finding a solution.

Attn: hospital administration You are awful people. Protect your employees. Don't suspend them when they are forced to take steps to protect themselves and their coworkers. Hope you get sued when this is over.

Firing a Nurse for doing the right thing by providing the gear and protective equipment they NEED because the people that are supposed to be providing those things either can't or won't, IS DISGRACEFUL AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVED SHOULD BE SHAMED PUBLICLY AND THEN FIRED PUBLICLY!!!

How about giving the nurses and other workers PPC before you pay your admins on red cent. And FIRE rthe admin who suspended her, and anyone else involved. Quit worrying about your image. You are vermin. No wonder they need PPC. To protect themselves from YOU.

Hospital administrators failed when they made the decision to NOT comply with federal law and accreditation standards (Condition of Participation) and did not implement the federal mandate of planning for pandemic supplies. And to add insult, they prohibited FRONT-LINE at risk nurses from bringing their own, while administration stayed in their safe offices and homes. Shame on them and I hope administration is found criminally liable for the deaths from these violations.
