My grandmother received the worst care. She was left soiled for hours, left unturned which led to pressure ulcers, left alone in her room without being checked on for hours. Suffered a stroke that was neglected and called “confusion”. Had a nurse YELL at her when she was confused and had dropped her phone to “get it together and talk to your family because were busy and have things to do”. My 73 diabetic dad went to the ER on Thursday night. His blood sugar was in its 60s. He wasn’t given food, an IV of glucose... not even a candy bar from the vending machine. He was scolded for not eating well and released. My sister was on the phone with him right before discharge and she said he was confused and she heard a man yelling at him. RecommendedWas there in June and November 2019 for surgery. Dr John Gorechlad did both procedures. He was fantastic. The 5th floor staff was outstanding. I have nothing but high praise for everyone.

RecommendedDo I recommend the hospital? I don’t know. That depends. You didn’t really suspend a nurse for obtaining her own personal protective equipment that you didn’t, wouldn’t, or couldn’t provide for your staff, did you? I certainly hope not. Because I’m thinking that if people find out about this, which they are at this point, you’re going to have a bit of a problem on your hands from a public relations standpoint.
