Do not choose this medical center. A Nurse bought supplies to get her coworkers through this tough time and they suspended her. Here's hoping the Nurse takes the medical system to court.
This hospital's administration suspended a nurse for buying PPE for her coworkers, saying it was "unauthorized." There are times you need to either help or get out of the way. What you did as a hospital was absolutely ridiculous. The RN who works for you was just trying to protect herself and her coworkers by providing PPE. PPE that you cannot provide them with. They are risking their lives every day for your hospital and this is how you treat them?

Apparently you have no respect for the safety of your staff. What Olga Matievskaya and her fellow intensive care nurses did was no reflection on your inability to obtain the necessary equipment to keep your staff safe. Treat your nursing staff with more respect. Cannot believe that during this Covid Emergency that they would look a gift horse in the mouth and reprimand an employee who filled the gap where they were obviously lacking. BRAVO RN FOR SAVING THE LIVES OF YOUR COWORKER'S!
You suspended an employee who was doing an administration's job. I have no confidence in your hospital leadership, as you cannot or will not protect your patients and workers.
