Get directionsGo Nurse Matievskaya for standing up for what is right, and for protecting her coworkers! Shame on you, Beth Israel.
its outrageous you would suspend nurse Olga for supplying much needed pipe and other items for staff
You suspend a nurse for buying PPE gear for herself and her colleagues?? Horrible, deplorable, and you should be ashamed of yourselves— reinstate her immediately with a public apology And Supply the gear for your staff!!
Go provide your nurses with basic PPE and stop suspending nurses for doing a job that you as a hospital (administrators) should be doing. wearing the same PPE in between patients is a way to cross contaminate other patients. Go and act like you care about your staff and patients. Shame!!
Doesn’t allow staff to acquire protection in the forms of masks, gowns and shoe protection but is also not supplying it. Therefore exposing the staff and other patients. On top of that they punish staff that do seek protection. And has not given a statement on what they will be doing with all that protective gear that is so desperately needed.
Any hospital that would fire a nurse for getting ppe for her fellow workers isn't worth recommending. More concerned about perception than public safety. shameful.
a hospital that suspends nurses for providing PPE that they failed to provide does not care about patient or staff safety, period. you can't trust a hospital like that to take good care of you.
Management lacks the ability to run a hospital, provide a safe working environment for its staff, or act rationally. And they treat their nurses worse than trash. Shame on you! Olga is a heroine.
You suspend a nurse who steps up to help not only protect the patients in your hospital but to help protect other medical staff so the can continue to put their lives on the line day in & day out to help those that are the sickest.. You in administration should be absolutely disgusted with yourselves & how you have & continue to systematically fail to protect those you have sworn to protect... I am sure it would be a different story if you had to come out of your comfy offices & stand arm & arm on the front lines with those ... read more
