For two months, I have been trying to get New York Life to roll over an account into another account. I had to switch companies due to a job change. New York Life has not cooperated at all, and they told me exactly what I would. need to do, I did it, and still-nothing!!!!! The customer service is atrocious. I would never do anything with them again. I am disgusted with the way they have handled my situation.

Absolutely the worst when it comes to short term disability. Was told I would need to a thing when it came to checks being issued on a regular basis. The entire 4 and half months on short term I fought for a check to be sent. I had to call for days before someone would escalate the situation. I never got calls back from supervisors or case workers. Now I find out they never took federal income taxes out as I requested and sign a form for. I am writing this in regards to agent *************** of NYL insurance. *** was considerate, patient competent and knowledgeable while helping my sister and I as well through the process after the passing of her husband. While handling the claim he very quickly brought the account to settlement. We highly recommend *** to anyone seeking a new agent.

New York Life Insurance - Long-term care insurance apparently has a business practice to urge customers to cancel their policy once it is, possibly, nearing implementation by a HUGE increase in the monthly billing. This increase from one annual period to the next has been a whopping 80%....... Of course there isn't any change in benefits for the HUGE increase. They have zero customer service. I filed a claim for emergency care and its been almost 3 months and no resolution. I tried several times to reach the adjuster assigned, *********************, but it is impossible. They do not even give you a number to speak with your handler. They asked me for every medical record which I provided and eventually they told me they cut me a check and it was being overnight to me and it was never received. OMG, IVR (call routing system) just hangs up for no reason. I suspect they blacklist people that are not woke.
Ive had policies with ** for over a decade . However, in the past 6 years I have seen this company turn absolutely horrible . I wont even bother going into most of my issues. Instead I will stick with the purely financial issues. My husband and I started a policy for him. His rate came up high after examination (due to stress ,covid, my pregnancy) I had to be at the hospital three times a week because I had pregnancy complications.
