Our restaurant and tavern is located in three renovated second empire style row houses built in the late 1800's. The block was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. After an appointment at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, we walked around town and stopped at the New Deck Tavern for dinner before heading home. Had a very nice, relaxing dinner. Loved my bangers and mash. Yummy!

Took a break from visiting U Penn Hospital and walked into this cozy, friendly pub that was bustling at happy hour. The chicken quesadilla was first-rate, service warm, the burgers looked giant and smelled great. Next time!
