Well, a year ( and a little bit) later - noticing they're continuing to sell Yeungling - my opinion of this place hasn't changed. Tom & I've never felt welcome in Nellie's, and for sure their drinks & bartenders are nothing to brag about. No loss to us if we never go back. Hubby hates this place, but I keep insisting "another try." Bills itself as a sports bar, but impossible to watch The Derby, and they acted like I was kidding when I asked for juleps. Had a GREEEEAT time (In my Tony the Tiger voice), planning on coming back to bring other friends and family. Entertainment was wonderful!!!
I'm just going to list all the things that went wrong. 1. They let people come in the door that stated was locked. So in freezing weather and the table by the door, we had to wear our jackets while eating. 2. Server responded she couldn't put on the UFC prefights bc they didn't have Fox (definitely a lie) 3. Chicken wings were too breaded and small. The sauce was decent. 4. A manager grilled me for putting my fliers on a chair that I was going to another location to hand out bc I was digging in my purse to find my ID.
WE HAD A BALL!!! we were treated so good, great staff, food, mimosas and entertainment! We will return!
