Dr.Syed is a caring Dr that gives you his time to talk about your options as a cancer patient he also cares about his patients which is a good thing in cases like this I personally am glad to meet him and have him as my oncologist for the last 6 months and into the future
He was concerned about my labs, ran some more tests..and I go back for more labs, and infusion..I have MDS.. I am 77, with heart and lung disease also, and possible kidney disease, and I have PAD, femoral artery has blockage...so we are just trying to keep my counts up, as we can..I don't any more chemo..rather enjoy the time I have...I think the world of him and his assistant..
I live Dr Syed he is caring and understand and wants to do all he can to help his patients . Cancer is already difficult so it really helps to have a doctor so easy to talk to . I would highly recommend him and Texas Oncology to anyone going through cancer . The whole staff is wonderful !!!

Dr. Nayyar Syed, & his Staff are ALL AWESOME!!! In my opinion; compared to the mega-huge cancer centers they (Texas Oncology-Mount Pleasant) may be considered by some people, to be a small center, BUT, the care, concern, commitment, & compassion that I have received there is MORE than ALL the mega-huge centers put together!!! I have been going there since 2018 and have never felt that Dr. Syed and his staff were not very interested in giving me the best care possible.
I was referred to Texas Oncology due to an extremely low blood count which had no obvious reason. At my appointment I was treated as if I was their only patient at that time even though there were other patients. The staff could tell I was nervous and worried and tried to alleviate my stress. When I saw my provider I was listened to and allowed to ask as many questions as I needed to ask. Every test and treatment options were thoroughly discussed with me.
