I don’t typically have great experiences with military health care, but all of my experiences at NMCSD have been wonderful. Most recently I went to the Breast Health Center for an annual exam I was very impressed. The staff was attentive, on time, and used all of the latest information and diagnostic practices. While that seems like it should be standard, many places I have been, military or not, fail to have the most up to date information and practices. Super nice facility and people. Only drag was at the pharmacy but overall a nice experience.
Does anyone ever answer the phone here? EVER? Also, "Your expected wait time is 2 minutes." I've been on hold for an hour before when it says I have 2 minutes to wait. This is not how you treat patients, but it is the Navy, so not shocking I suppose.
