I would like to give a BZ to Dr Halsey and his interns on a great experience with the removal of a growth from under my left ear yesterday. I would also like to extend that BZ to the folks running 4 East. The professionalism and pride were very evident from all the staff I dealt with during my recovery. Thank you for your devotion to duty and overall friendliness and care. It made the recovery bearable, even though I was in pain. CWO4 (Ret) Andrew Hicks
I was thinking of the time that I was just a young man and I was able to attend the class A,B and C school and of the individual knowledge that I was given to enhance my career by others that had been able to either get the knowledge from other sources and I benefitted from it and at time it was just the Naval Hospital Balboa, the name may have changed but the quality of service has been And will continue to be OUTSTANDING!!!.

This is the email I sent to Patient Relations Naval Medical Center San Diego 3/21/16 in regards to what happened to myself, three small children, and my sons service dog Cookie. I have yet to receive a response. I copyed and pasted it with the exception that I ommited the officers name for privacy and took out details of my sons disability. Please feel free to comment and share. Also I'm sorry for all the typos, I wrote it from my phone and through tears. Today I had to keep...Continue Reading
As a Corpsman 1st Class, I have to say the experience that I had there the other night was stellar. HM3 Gillam and CDR Platt were by far the most competent, personable and caring staff members one could encounter there on an ER visit. Even as the only Dr. for the night due to some short staffing he was attentive, validated my concerns and formulated a solid treatment plan for my condition. I felt as if they both had great repore with everyone they were dealing with. I got my discharge and meds in a matter of less than half a... read more
Waited for 3 hours at the ER and didn't saw the doctor. Horrible experience and it just reminded how much I hated his hospital.
