I would like to give my greatest things to Nations lending and their team Robbie kid did a fantastic job in Kayla did a fantastic job. When other Banks had told us no on different programs or amounts they reviewed us they looked at our credit they looked at our finances and said yes you can it may be a bit of a challenge but this is what we do and they worked very hard and they did everything they could and got us into our home in a very fast timely manner. There was very little communication throughout the whole process. Email, and text messages went unanswered for several day regarding an additional engineering certificate that was needed at the very last minute before closing. This was also an additional cost rolled into our closing that was never addressed or communicated. This company seems extremely dishonest and very unprofessional. My fiancé and I got pre approved for a home loan and was never told about having to pay for any points but before closing we notice we had over $2,000 in points.. they had to push our closing date back because underwriting couldn’t not get finalized in time.. also we had to send documents multiple times and were kept out of the loop. We will never choose nations lending again. It’s a shame a company could be tan so badly

Mason ****the agent that we originally contacted, provides us with a quote that was attractive. We started all the process. When the appraisal came back, we renegotiate the price, and out of the blue, the numbers changed (rate increased and points were added), this caused the closing to raise by almost $4K. Mason promised it was a mistake from someone in NL offices, and that will be corrected. I did a Home Mortgage with this Company. I was told things that never happened. That I would not have to pay on my Mortgage for 2 months. This journey started in October 15-2021 and did not finally close till January 2022. Once you close they leave you high and dry! They won’t respond. Your Mortgage looks like a loan and not a home mortgage on your credit report. I was left stuck with my other mortgage company still taking payments out of my automated payment checking account. If I could leave zero stars I would. Dishonest company and does not go over and beyond to get the job done. The mortgage officer was actually really good. The underwriter snd that process was a nightmare. They would go missing in action for days at a time. Delayed my closing because they couldn’t get the job done. Very poor communication. They gave me a monthly payment amount in two scenarios. I chose the lower down payment because the difference in monthly payment was minimal with a higher down payment. We called nations lending about a mortgage for a second home which happened to be a single wide trailer. We talked with Dustin and after asking him several times if this could be done thru them he reassured us it could, so we went ahead and applied.. we sent all the necessary paperwork including our 401k statement. Then was asked why we had big deposits and with drawers from out bank.. (which is honestly not their business). This company is horrible, my husbands credit score was around 780 when we started. They continually told us not to worry about payments because they were closing soon. After 3 months we still didn't close and my husbands credit score dropped to 520 because we listened to them. In the end they denied us because his score was too low. Horrible people.

Completely incompetent. They told me they had everything they needed for underwriting, but are asking for documentation on the dates I’m scheduled to close.
