I just got home from an overnight stay and I was truly cared for and loved by the entire nursing staff! I wish I remembered every single one of their names so I could give them all a shout out, but Angelica Garcia was one of them. Every single nurse showed kindness, compassion and care. My son was in the emergency room on Saturday night, November 2. 7:30pm. A break to both his tibia and fibula, he was in excruciating pain that was quickly under control as best as it could be. Stephanie was our nurse. We loved her. She was very kind to my son. When it was decided that a transport was necessary, the lead doctor in the ER was extremely helpful in providing choices for hospitals that specialize in pediatric orthopedic surgery. in my opinion they are incompetent
I had a horrible experience waiting to be seen at the emergency center. never was actually seen. Received a bill and contacted the patient advocate. After two calls I finally got a return call. Was told I would receive a call back with a decision. I never received that call. I have called several more times and never been called back. I want to know who to actually contact to get some resolution to this issue. The patient advocate doesn't seem to know how to do her job.
