National Life Insurance are thieves. They take your money easily, but they cannot pay out YOUR money. Please do not buy insurance from this corrupted company and their agent are corrupted.
Purchased a universal life policy from this company. After 10+ years, I've decided to close ********* and collect my surrender cash value. It has been about 2 months since I've received my cash payment value. My initial cancelation form was never received even though it was emailed. I ended up completing the form electronically. I've been told it would take ***** days and it's been over 2 months since the 1st application and still no payment at all. I will be following up again in the next week. Terrible! Worst business I have ever had to deal with. Tricky company. Be very careful. Wanted a **** they sold me a life insurance policy. Took over a year to even get paperwork to know what I bought. Then trying to contact some one about it was like pulling teeth. Don't trust this company.

I started an annuity through my school in September and decided to terminate it with in the 30 free look time and they have yet to send me my money. I am supposed to get back money which the have "sent" me 4 times. It keeps getting lost in the mail or my district has it on and one it goes. I have made repeated calls to the company, your best bet to get through is at 8:00 in the morning but it really doesn't matter if you get through or not the results are the same. I have had a life insurance policy for 35 years. Obviously never had to use it. Borrowed against. Supposed to be 60 months to pay back. 72 months later, they just keep taking money. Can't reach anyone. Beginning to realize it is not what it seems.

What a horrible company. While working for the LA Unified School District, my wife signed up for an annuity from "Life Insurance of the Southwest" (really National Life Group). In retrospect, this was a very bad deal for many reasons.
