I had a great experience with my rental from the team at Boston Logan airport. I had to extend my rental by a couple days and they were very accommodating, great customer service!

Love being able to pick any car off the line but last experience was bad. I dropped car off at Portland Jetport, brought keys inside where two people working at counter. One went out to look at car while other one checked me in. The man came back in and said all set. A week later I get notification in the mail that there is supposed damage. I call to complain and they said they will have their investigation group contact me. That was a week ago and I have not heard from anyone. I went to Boston a couple of weeks ago and rented a car from National. As usual I had a great experience. The staff was awesome and there was a large variety of vehicles to choose from in the Aisle. I would definitely recommend National to my friends and family.

Convenience factor quite high, thank you. However, it was extremely expensive. Much worse than the $72 per day charge would suggest: by the time you add up all of the taxes and service fees, airport access fees, etc. etc. (there were 11 lines of various weird fees and boy they add up!) we ended up paying for a lot more than we bargained for. I know you have little control over taxes and fees but there should be some point of maximum hit.

I had a intermediate car reservation, I don't know what happened there. So the car I got, the Nissan Versa, was filthy on the inside and the windows looked as if they had a film on them, probably from a smoker since there was a burn mark on the passenger seat. So I went to roll the window down and you guessed it, I had t... read more

Then I spoke with the National representative out in the parking garage area and he said that it was not a problem and that I could choose another car.
