Don’t use Air Comfort Solutions. Tech came out and gave me absolutely zero solutions to my problem. Said my unit was obsolete, couldn’t get coolant for it, could refill the coolant but it wouldn’t be as efficient, just a bunch of vague “issues”. Didn’t tell us anything concrete like what it would cost to fix or even an estimate to replace. Just said he had to collect the $85 service fee. Working with AirTech of Humble was an extremely disappointing experience. After calling them back out to address warranty repair for their previous work, I received a bill of $3,267 for labor, which was more than 50% of what it cost me to put in a new Trane evaporator coil and condensing unit previously. While performing the repairs their technicians left some paperwork in the unit, which was sucked up by the blower and burned the motor up. This company installed a new heating and cooling system in August of 2022. In which i psid $9600.00. In the last 11 months I have had to call them 3 to 4 times. 1st time was 3 months after installation. They had to come and adjust something because I could not change the air filter myself. Something was not installed correctly so the air filter could not slide in. Now my inside unit is sweating and leaking. A technician come Thursday and had to ask for the Manuel to adjust the blowers. I wish zero stars was an option here for Air Comfort Solutions. My elderly grandparents purchased a complete a/c unit with an air purifier due to my grandfathers COPD, and it failed within 2 months of being installed. Since the 2016 installation, this company has completely destroyed their home claiming everything from faulty electrical, insulation, and anything else they can to avoid admitting any fault or responsibility for the improper installation of the unit. Techs seem to be ok. 6 trips no resolution. They have been working to resolve thermostat not turning off when reached set temp. David Took out Honeywell thermostat put in A Pro. Did not work and would not shut off. Did not show humidity. David did not put dates in service report when he took out thermostat. July 1, 2023 Micah put in correct thermostat. I had bathtub, shower head, and all the fixtures replaced along with repaired leaks they were very curtiose, perfessional and did a great job with that but they cut of the sheet rock around the tub when they replaced the shower and tub but they didn't replace it. Boerne/San Antonio - KCA Services (Technician - Ray) AC not cooling in afternoons. Reviewed other BBB postings about this company and very wary about them sales pitching refrigerant refilling for my AC. I have had multiple other companies come out and verify that is not the issue. Within 2 minutes of explaining my issue Ray, the technician, is 100% sure it is the refrigerant. Without looking at anything he went straight to that. That is a common AC company sales pitch. I had my Spring AC tune-up this afternoon, ********** *** *** ****. I asked the service technician, Codie ******** if he cleaned the coils (hosed down) the outside unit. He told me he had. I can hear when didn’t the outside water is turned on and running. I asked him a second time and explain that I can hear when the outside faucet is turned on and running.
