We stayed for 2 days, loved the location (walking distance to everything), great restaurants and friendly people!
My mom and I stayed here last weekend and woke up to bed bugs... I will never stay there again.
The only good thing about this hotel is it's right by the Mississippi river. The lady when we checked in was unfriendly and the breakfast was not that great.
Very clean, hospitality was excellent. We'll be visiting again this weekend.
The view was spectacular! The hotel is located right on the banks of the Mississippi River and within walking distance of alot of attractions and the historical downtown district. My biggest complaint is the bed...especially the pillows. The pillows are small, square, flat and squishy! Anytime I have ever stayed at a hotel the bed has been amazing...oversized, overstuffed pillows. The bed itself wasnt extremely comfortable either. Housekeeping could be better. Thank you for such a wonderful stay at The Grand Hotel. It was my first visit to Mississippi and it was terrific. We met so many nice people...a few being in your Housekeeping Department. I left my favorite pillow and they mailed it to my home....with a CLEAN PILLOWCASE! Thanks so much for going the extra mile.
Beautiful rooms. Good location with great views. BUT no wine hardly any alcohol actually apart from beer. Not even with dinner. Dinner was only average. Brekky very badic with plastic plates and cutlery! Really doing it on the cheap.
