I and a friend purchased the adventure package and spent the day white water rafting, ziplining and kayaking Fonatana Lake. Our whitewater guides were amazing, instructive, informative and hilarious conversationalist who really gave an extra bit of life to our run. The their workers of NOC were extremely accompanying and answers all of our questions and helped us to fully enjoy our experiences, which were ALL firsts for me. My sisters and I went on our first guided white water rafting tour this past weekend and our guide, Brad, was awesome! We had so much fun and learned so much throughout the tour. We highly recommend this tour and be sure to request Brad as your guide! We will definitely be back!
We stopped in at NOC on our way home after a few days of hiking in the Smokies. We love the place, so we just couldn't pass by without stopping in for a post-hike meal. Chris was a great waiter, and the food is always great. And you can't beat the view from either porch overlooking the Nantahala River.
Love this whole experience! Great family fun! Have learned a lot from friends on this river. Can't wait to go back!
A gem in the Appalachian Mountains. Great for family fun, or an individual laid back trip!
Although I work here, I always find myself wanting to come back. NOC is full of great individuals who love the outdoors and want to share their love to all who visit.
