I was glad I went with NOC. Been down Nantahala several time with different companies first time with NOC absolutely loved it. We had Fish as the ride guide and he was awesome. One of the nice things about NOC is when you're done with your rapping you're right there at the facility you don't have to jump on another bus and go back to where you parked your car. I do wish we would have signed up for zipline also. If we go down Nantahala again which we probably will we will sign up with NOC.
Overall, great experience in the zip line adventure, but communication is lacking. The confirmation email said to check in 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time, but the signage is poor, which made signing in and finding the exact location difficult and frustrating. One employee told me to wait in line at the rafting/zip line windows, but it was taking forever. Another employee told me to go to the zip line sign in area where the gear is fitted. My husband rafted the Chatooga today out of SC and he loved it! We've been white-water rafting for over 30 years and he said this trip was the BEST he'd EVER been on!

Took my daughters on their first whitewater rafting adventure via NOC. They joined their cousin for his first trip too. Absolutely a blast, great service, Super guide. Definitely recommend NOC on the Nantahala for beginner rafters.
