Was in town apartment shopping with my daughter. Grabbed some sushi for lunch. Very good and we’re helpful with my daughters gluten allergies. I’ll be back again.
I have never had a bad experience at Nama. I frequent both locations. The service is great and the rolls are delicious! Everyone I have recommended Nama to has loved it and comes back for more. Great place to eat with friends.

I've been to this restaurant several times and it is usually wonderful! That's why I suggested it on Saturday to my husband's Aunt who was visiting us and wanted to see the chalk walk downtown. Everything was fine at first. We were seated immediately and our waitress came and brought us water. Our waitress never asked for a drink order, which was strange. We go to Nama all the time! We switch between locations depending on where we are that day. Last night our experience was terrible. The food was good but the service was awful. Our server was so rude and went so far as to tell us "that's not how it works" in a very rude and sarcastic manner when we asked if we could order a side (which we had no trouble ordering at the Nama in Bearden). I've been a server before and I know how hard it can be at times but that was RIDICULOUS.
We were seated at a table near the door. Every time the door opened, cold air rushed in. It was not only uncomfortable, but it made my food cold much sooner than it should have been.
I was happy to find they had a number of vegetarian options. The Avocado and tomato salad was great and so was the tofu caprese. We also had wasabi hummus and the crispy veggie roll. Yum �
It was mediocre sushi, nothing special and by far not the best quality (fish) I have had and the price is most definitely a turn off.
Everything is absolutely delicious, such great balances of flavor. Incredible.
