Over two decades ago Nam Phuong, a Vietnamese Restaurant opened its doors to locals of Philadelphia. The restaurant was named in honor of Queen Nam Phuong, the last queen of Vietnam. They were an instant hit with the locals and from a food truck they flourished quickly into a restaurant. Original, authentic Vietnamese food -- as one would eat in Saigon. It is neither Americanized nor watered down to pander to those who may visit this place with the trepidation of first timers. Outstanding food!
The Pho here was amazing! there are so many other items that I want to try and I can't wait to go back.
Mother's Day was busy, but that didn't cause the service to slow. We had an excellent meal at a reasonable price and a very attentive waiter. The decor is very pleasing.
Quickly decided to dine here after a stop at the nearby market and found some of the most refreshing food. If you want a friendly staff, generous porpotions and the best lotus salad ever, this place is perfect. Also service was all super fast! Seriously, get the lotus salad!
