Over two decades ago Nam Phuong, a Vietnamese Restaurant opened its doors to locals of Philadelphia. The restaurant was named in honor of Queen Nam Phuong, the last queen of Vietnam. They were an instant hit with the locals and from a food truck they flourished quickly into a restaurant. They r too busy to kiss American customers a$$ so they won't serve Vietnamese ones unless they have enough staff. Oh well too many places to choose, why come here and got yourself mistreated?
We ordered the shaken beef (com no luc lac) there was a rubber band in my food. I asked to speak with the manager to informed him and he sent a bus boy. I won't invite any of my friends and family here again. Very coward thing to do. Plenty of other places to eat.
The food is very good. And I didn't even mind eating in a building that doesn't hold very good memories for me.
Excellent service and excellent food. Have never been disappointed. If I would change one thing, it would be that orders should come all at the same time. Usually when there is someone at the table that orders Pho, that comes way before all other dishes. My recommendation is bring all dishes at the same time, that way it is not awkward for the person eating Pho. Other than that this place ROCKS!
I love the food. Great flavor and smell. Try the shaking Beef.
