It was fucking amazing.
Loved it! Old Hollywood at it's finest! The filet was awesome as was the baked potato and the chocolate brownie birthday treat! Everyone was super nice! Great experience, will definitely go again! Great place to go if on your way to a show at the Pantages, as we were!
I first came to the Musso & Frank Grill as a fan of Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch books. I love the history, how it epitomizes the "Hollywood" feel. You can roll in off the street in jeans and a tee shirt and dine as though you were wearing a top hat and tails. The food is as perfect as the atmosphere. Steaks that melt in your mouth. Side dishes that are as simple as they are perfectly done. I look forward to coming here any time I can.
Musso's is a walk into history every time we have dinner there. The food is truly great and very fresh! The bar...ah the bar! The mahogany wood bar is an experience in and of itself. You feel like you are back into the time when the screenwriters of Hollywood worked hard over a real typewriter, came in for a drink that ended up helping them to create the legends in film that we know today.
