We saw four providers, including my PCP before getting to Dr. Whitfield with our concerns. They prescribed fiber, creams and laxatives. One GI performed a colonoscopy, and my symptoms continued. We saw Dr. Whitfield on Dec 22. He listened and examined and then said clearly "Your problem is not what you think it is." He had me come in the next day for an exam under anesthesia.
