The group of doctors they contract with are sometimes not adequate. Poor communication with the patient, mistakes made but not explained. Woefully understaffed.
I will never go back to this place. Nine years ago they sent me home twice when I thought I was in early labor and I delivered and lost my son at home. My kids knocked over their dresser today on top of themselves it was rush hour so I took them here the closest hospital to our house hoping they got better we waited over three hours to still not be called back so I left. I will only be bringing my kids to st joes or Mary bridge from now on.
The facility itself is fine but the administration and staff itself are clearly below par. My wife just endured a week long stay and had the suffer the staff's mediocre performance and the general incompetence of the doctor's they utilize. This hospital is the only one in Puyallup and serves mostly the middle to lower classes plus the people who are prisoners in the local jails. For the most part good sam is amazing. Today however.. I got stuck in a recliner in the hallway. My legs are hanging off from being so tall. It’s very uncomfortable given that I can’t stop throwing up. :( Someone bring me a bed...
Thus is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HOSPITAL!!!!
I came in at 8. Got a room by 9. However they didn't treat me and left me in a room for 3 and a half hours without checking on me.. Left me with my symptoms and all my pain. Came back to tell me I'm not pregnant and other testing was fine. Not even the reason I came in. I stayed in a bed for over 3 hours in pain!!! I always hate coming here. I've been to hospitals enough to know how it should go. I should have had an ultrasound. They should have treated me for my neasous and gave me something for my pain/inflammation. I know... read more
Dr. Godbout is the best I have ever seen. He is patient, knowledgeable and authentic. I appreciate him and his entire staff. From his office to the hospital everyone is phenomenal.
