This bakery earned its fame worldwide after it invented the CRUFFIN. A hybrid of both croissant and muffin. Visiting this place was on top of my to do list during my San Francisco trip. I got up early in the morning and rushed over there to avoid waiting in a long queue. It was 10 minutes prior opening hour and already a short queue of people started to build up. All the croissants 🥐 are lovely and the staff are very friendly.
Although the line was pretty long when we arrived it moved fast. Our wait was about 30 minutes.

Cool location but so-so desserts. We went for breakfast but the breakfast choices are limited unless you want to consume pure sugar. The coffee is either hot or cold, no espresso. $20 for two pastries and two coffees. Prepare to wait in a line outside around the building. No seating at all. And I don’t mean the seats were full, I mean absolutely 0 seats or tables. Not worth it in my opinion.
If you want the Cronuts, you have to get there early. If you are late, the Croissants are also excellent!
