Kevin, the handyman, did an excellent job on a variety of things - electric, plumbing, painting, concrete work, and shutter replacements. He was thorough, very knowledgeable, and when finish was under the estimate.
Mr. Handyman shows up and completes the work on time. Communication is great.
It took over 3 hours to complete the door install. It was an easy Install & storm door from Lowes. The technician had trouble figuring out the instructions and seemed to re-do things a few times. The original estimate (and why I hired them) was for $200. The final bill was $411.00. I felt like I had been had. The tech didn't seem to know how to adjust the closing speed/force and the door sweep at the bottom. He left the sweep up with about 3/4 inch of light showing because otherwise it didn't close fully. First, for starters, I would not recommend Mr. handyman of central Houston to anyone living in this surrounding area, the worth ethics and managing skills are irritably terrible. The amount of money they charge for just one hour is outstanding seeing that they could not even do the job. However, the contractor by the name of Stan who came to view my home had rudely told me he could not hang my gutters. Then began chuckling at the fact that my home was a liability to Mr handy. Al from Mr. Handyman arrived on time this morning to assist in leveling the footing for my deck. Al was very professional and friendly! He came up with a creative solution on the fly that worked better for me and was less money than the initial quote. Would definitely use Mr. Handyman again!
Everything went well and the serviceman completed everything he had agreed to do.
BEST THERE IS IN KNOXVILLE. IF YOU WANT A COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND HAS OLD FASHIONED INTEGRITY, USE THESE GUYS. ZAC IS AWESOME
