Would have been 5 stars for scheduling and keeping to agreed time. Technician showed up on the dot. Key though is make sure you know what job is to be done or discuss thoroughly on the phone before hiring. The charge for a no work done visit, as mine was, is significant although I got a little piece of mind that my own handyman skills were on the right track.
The workman was excellent. The hardware supporting the door was old and replacement parts were not available, so he came up with a creative solution that looks good and works fine. On the other hand the visit had to rescheduled a few times, with a couple of no-shows.

The rep, James, was knowledgeable about doors and explained the repairs. Due to his work and experience, I added a garage door opener replacement project which was also excellent. Highly recommend Handyman of Central Houston.

Quick response. We discussed the issue prior to their visit so that they could fix the issue quickly. We discussed multiple options as well. They had all the necessary materials and tools during the visit and were done in a timely manner
