I really should have read these reviews before calling them for help! They came and did a quick diagnosis on my washer and said that replacing the rubber seal would fix the leaking problem, I was not very convinced at the time but still agreed to let them do the repair. I was charged about $350 in total but after the replacement the problem is not fixed at all! the leaking issue is even worse! Outrageously expensive. Left our dishwasher (which was still working) disconnected. We were repeat customers but not any more. My husband ordered a $25 part and it took him 15 minutes to fix the problem (youtube video). This business wanted to charge us $300 plus the $99 service charge for the job. The tech didn't even reconnect the dishwasher so it would run. BEWARE, don't use them.
I would like to add, this is all in the midst of the CORONA VIRUS and having a working washer is ESSENTIAL. AVOID THIS COMPANY, DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I would give zero stars if I could. We had our washer looked at today and will now have to have a second opinion, as I don't feel the technician who was sent out was experienced enough. Upon calling them, Judy very bluntly told me there would be no sorreimbursement to our $100 service fee for 12 minutes of the technicians time. I really wish I would have read more reviews on this company before calling them.
I would give them zero stars but the system won't let me. The technician broke my granite counter top on January 6 and this company refuses to pay for the repair. They claim it wasn't like that when he left and the counter wasn't installed properly. As if I would just break my own counter. They would not respond to my emails, put me on hold for 15 minutes, then claimed I signed a release form absolving them from any liability. I signed it, but I've never received a copy. We were very unhappy with the service. The technician was unable to fix our dishwasher and told us that the part needed was no longer available and the dishwasher would need to be replaced. We got a second opinion and the dishwasher was fixed. We let Mr. Appliance know and they initially agreed to refund the fee. However, they later changed their mind-stating that they were unable to get the part even though someone else clearly could. Terrible service. They will make a quick diagnosis and sell you something that probably wont work to fix your problem. They sold us a part for our range over $500.00 that we didn't need and didn't fix our issue. After 5 service calls, we still have the problem with our range. They don't return phone calls and they won't call with updates on the status of your repair until you repeatedly call them. I would NOT recommend Mr. Appliance of Golden for any appliance repairs and as a retired veteran, would encourage veterans to use caution when dealing with this company. I found them lacking in honesty and good faith in our dealings with them. They represented themselves as a warranty service provider for LG refrigerators. Mr. Appliance takes pride in our service and trys to make every customer experience positive, at know time did we take advantage of Mr. D***. The complaint should be with LG not Mr. Appliance. Mr D*** contacted Mr. Appliance to do repairs to his LG Fridge on June 25th he didn't contact LG for repairs. Repairs where completed on July 15th customer was out town till the July 15th. This business is complete rip off. I scheduled an appointment with them for a washer and dryer repair. They never showed up to repair it. When I called, the "manager" kept offering to send someone the next day, after repeatedly told her that I just wanted a refund of my $173 diagnostic fee.
