Wouldn’t recommend, leasing agents lie through their teeth about the building details, they advertise the buildings being old as a good thing, but it’s actually aweful, expect them to tell you just to deal with it quite often. They also shut off my whole buildings water every Monday from 9am to 12pm. So literally every person in my building starts their week being unable to take a shower or brush their teeth before work.
Went to look to rent a space, ended up with my car being towed after my visit. None of the staff claimed they knew i was coming, even though they were there and expecting me when i got there. Bunch of crooks and the properties are falling apart. Predators. Stay away from these crooks.
I was going to finish out my time at the Morrowfield, and just be DONE with this horrendous place and management company, but I realized I would have liked somebody to warn me before renting, so consider this your warning if you’re presently considering.
I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy.
This company is discriminative, have no regard for PA law, rude to interact with and liars. I would not suggest this company to anyone. Stay away.
Avoid Mozart. They do not care about you as a person, they only want your money. Mozart Management staff are not very friendly and they were a chore to work with. The place was disgustingly filthy when I arrived. Maintenance issues were a battle to get resolved - and really they did a poor job truly fixing anything. Renewing your lease is frustratingly 6 months before the end of your lease which means no other apartments in the area are posted as available yet to compare. RecommendedI moved into my Mozart managed apartment in North Oakland when I started grad school at Pitt. It was super convenient, and I loved the apartment and the courtyard. I always find that the office staff is nice and polite, very helpful when it comes to issues either with a neighbor or maintenance. The people who come to fix things are always nice. They always knock, yell out "Mozart", and never intrude if they caught you at a bad time. I write this now thinking of the prospect that I will probably be moving away from Pittsburgh... read more
I moved into the Georgian last August thinking that I was getting a good location but not much more. But then, I found out that no matter how small (dripping faucet) or big (locked myself out in the middle of the night) issue I had, Mozart staff was available to help.That is a heck of a lot better than what my friends get with other landlords! So, I will stay where life is good.
