Loved everything about this place. We did S'mores, farm tour, 1865 Cellar Tour with Kelly, and had an incredible breakfast. The hotel exuded charm and intimacy. The piano player in the lobby was wonderful The porch views were spectacular. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Loved the oldest working elevator and view from the top of the spa.
What a gem. My husband and I enjoyed a (too) quick stay without the kids. Everywhere we turned there were cool little nooks to check out and activities everywhere. Dinner in the wine cellar top notch. Front porch breathtaking. Other than the early rising, noisy family staying above us it was perfect. Oh, and the pillows were so comfy we had to ask the brand before we left!
What a wonderful resort. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the old school feel and the daily activities that were offered yet it still has all the present day amentites that one would want and need. The views are beautiful and breathtaking at all times of the day. The wine cellar restaurant is a must! We can't wait to return!
A beautiful historical resort full of friendly folks and splendor. The panaramic view is breathtaking especially in the fall. What a wonderful experience making memories!

We had a great visit this weekend! Staff was friendly and helpful, room was immaculate and the hotel was just a step back in time. It was great to be able to go and unplug for a few days. Dinner in the wine cellar was a highlight! We'll definitely be back - perhaps this time when it's a bit cooler and we can take full advantage of the porch!! Thanks for a wonderful stay. :)

Absolutely beautiful, views were breathtaking and the amenities at the hotel were perfect for the family. Camp fire s'mores, games room, pools, 0outdoor activities and farm. We were a little bit let down as no robes in room (apparently supposed to be), TV didn't work, when we pulled out the sofa bed it clearly hadn't been cleaned underneath. The Tavern restaurant let it down quite a bit, extremely poor service, red wine spilt on my husband which wasn't even cleaned, took FOREVER to get out food, 2 hours in a restaurant with ... read more
