Excellent place for gear/advice. Wonderful people working here, too!
The staff were SOOO friendly, SOOO helpful and just when I KNEW the prices on gear were going to be insane because of "supply and demand" for that location, they beat all the major chains!!! Not to mention, I saved myself a 2-hour trek picking up last minute gear before our departure!!! The atmosphere there will never be matched!

The staff helped with boot inserts ... they were patient with me as I tried several sizes. The insert is perfect for me and my feet are " happy "

The staff is absolutely fabulous at Mountain Crossings, and I suggest that every hiker I know go there for their gear! When it comes to knowledge, history, and heart, George and Logan can't be beat!! :):)
Love stopping here. Came just to hike Blood Mountain, but really enjoyed the store too! I was amazed at all the photos, packs, and boots of other hikers adorning the walls and trees outside. ✌️
