Karen Phipps of Wildland properties rented house to some very close friends of mine. It was found to be full of toxic mold but she would do nothing about it. My friends husband contracted a lung disease as well as skin cancer because he was allergic to one of the molds. From what the inspector said my friends had to leave everything in the house because the mold would go with it wherever it went and spread. We rented from this company for years. Have had great customer service. Any small issues were addressed in a timely manner. The house and grounds were always clean. Our family always enjoys the stays.
Would not honor "slashed prices" special on their own website. The customer service representative that called me and MADE me cancel my reservation was EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional! Made it sound like i was my fault, that i should have known that rate was not correct. Yet they advertised it under their specials tab!
If I were to rate our experience with Mountain Air Cabin rentals solely based off my most recent trip, I would probably rate below a "1 Star" if it were an option. We rented a home for the Fourth of July back in January only to have resort vacation call yesterday to say house is damaged and can’t rent it to us three months after we rented it. Get this they said it was damaged last year. They are sending our money back. I’m on line today and guess what property pops up? The same one we had reserved. Something is fishy with this company. The lady on the phone said they would not help us find a new property. Geezs
