This hospital group takes incompetence to a new level. I checked in with a NY drivers license and gave them a NYC mailing address. Somehow they have a 5 year old California address for me (I have no idea how unless they are linked with Stanford). They have been mailing bills for me to California. Instead of verifying the address, they have sent my account into collections. They also commit insurance fraud. The hospital and the Dr both billed me for the same insurance code. It’s either the Dr or the hospital can bill for doin... read more

I had revision knee surgery there today. Dr. Douglas Unis and his wonderful team did an great job. The Surgery Department on 5th floor was wonderful attentive and sensitive to my needs and did everything to make me comfortable doing and after surgery. I had real concerns since we are in a pandemic, and I felted very comfortable there. Thanks to First Responders for their hard work 365 days a year in or not in a pandemic.

My experience was horrible. Doctors told me I would be fine in a few hours after surgery, gave no prep or post expectations, and I was in bed for 3 weeks. Also, everything about it was cold and lacking any heart. The doctors have no awareness of being anything holistic - mind, body, spirit. Wellness and healing were nowhere in the equation. It was one of the worst experiences of my entire life, as they treated me like a piece of meat to operate on without any care for me as a whole human being.
