Very poor communication with family of loved ones in ICU. Family is treated like a burden when calling for updates. Very rude and cold. Not compassionate at all. The secretaries are gatekeepers in the most unfriendly way. I am a nurse and haven’t ever treated families of my patients this way. I show them compassion as I put myself in their shoes. The medical doctors and residents must chart on all their patients before they make 1 min to answer 2 questions I had. Understaffed with RNs as well putting patients at risk and I c... read more
