We came from Rhode Island to Mt. Sinai Hospital for my younger brother to receive a colon transplant. We feel truly blessed for him to receive a second chance at life. Thankful for the selfless act of the other family to give my brother this gift. All the staff in the transplant unit were all amazing along with Dr. Iyer and Dr. Moon! Thank you!!!!
So, I went to Mount Sina with my sister for an emergency check-up. The experience was great. They check her right away and didn't have to wait long for the results. It was faster than other hospitals. I know i should give them a five star but a after finding out what this hospital did after really made me change my five star to a 2 star. I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Aug 19, 2016 I was taken under the supervision of Dr. Malone... she was able to give me terrible news in ways that made me feel hopeful and in words I could understand; I admire her knowledge, but I praise her HUMANITY!!! ... . The treatment was intense and difficult, the nurses and the rest of the staff also made my 5 week stay at 11 East, feel like family looking over me... Me and my dad have everything ready for a kidney transplant, yesterday was the last appoitment before surgery I am very positive that everything is going to be ok the doctors and all the transplant staff area are very nice thank you so much
