My husband recieved a liver transplant 4 yrs ago . Thank you to the liver team for a 2nd chance at life with him . Today he's had a hernia repair( his 4th) because he has trouble setting limits on wt lifting...and has weak abdominal walls . The staff continues to be the finest most compassionate , knowledgeable group that works in teams so you can always get answers & needs met from the cleaning people to the finest surgeons I love them all. The Mount Sinaí is the human slaughterhouse, hide information to patients and refuse treatment when you erase everything that look as if it never existed that patients in the hospital.
My mother had surgery there yesterday. Dr. Basil Kocur was the surgeon, he did an excellent job. The staff in the reception/registration area was exceptional. However, I was disillusioned once I got to see my mom in the recovery area, the nurse that was attending to her kept telling me I should leave bc she didn't know when the room would be ready. I was there for a total of 3 hours. After 1 1/2 hrs, I was offered a chair by another staff person. At approximately 6 pm she was taken to Klingenstein Pavillion 4. The staff ther... read more
They are awesome ���� excellent service!! Hospital is very clean. Doctors and nurses have a Lot of respect for the patients. I will recommend anyone to go there.
