I was actually very disappointed 😔 with the quality of my food! Ordered a small turkey Po’boy it was so dry the bread wasn’t fresh & it wasn’t dressed as a Po’boy should be pickles etc weren’t on it! & I’ve heard so much about the establishment & it was highly disappointing!!!! & a service staff members attitude was very very poor & rude! The word is excuse me!
Mother’s is a local icon but it failed us for Essence Fest weekend. The fish and shrimp were not well seasoned. The food was not prepared with love��

The only thing I had good from here was the hurricane,the Etouflee, and the peach cobbler. The ham was dry, fish and shrimp fried pefect but no seasoning,and the jambalaya was dry. Not a good first time New Orleans good experience.

Nothing you can do about long line but have patience. Server was descent and food was just okay. I will say the brownie is delish.

The food quality, taste and service level was below poor. It is not a place I can recommend. The food was cold and I felt it was pre cooked - old. Old fried food is not good nor should be served.

The food was great but most of the workers were quite rude.
The lines were long and the food was very bland. There is absolutely no seasoning. It is definitely overpriced for the taste.
