**update** they have since called me and made it right, and reimbursed me for the recent service that was not actually completed. As I now understand, they have a call service that sometimes answers for them if they’re busy in the other lines, and can give the impression that they’re giving you “the run around” or lead to issues falling in between the cracks so to speak. The tech is spraying bushes straight into my yard as if there is a barrier in a respiratory! My dog and I were outside and I ended up cough, threwing up, and having a hard time breathing in this COVID19 environment! The heat and air is hard enough to breathe on this 90+ day. Neighbors watch out!!!!

I specifically asked them to start in the back since I have stray cats on the property. This way I could get the cats out of the way. Instead the 2 guys blast through my yard blowing off my fountain tarps !! The cats are gone scared to death the smell unbearable I spent the afternoon picking up fountains that were contaminated I had to empty water scrub them for the entire afternoon. I do not recommend them! Sadly the first time they came they were very considerate and no problems this time it was horrible! Never again!

The first spray was good. Second spray a very minimal lazy job. Called to advise and was told don't like it, don't have to do business with us. 5 accounts we know are dumping them.

Last week, my neighbor had “mosquito joes” come treat their tree line which borders our yard. Normally we see dozens of fireflies in our yard each summer- it’s filled with the little critters flashing. This week- I’ve seen two. 😭 I’m so disturbed that America is spraying vast amounts of toxic chemicals. Instead we should be putting up bat boxes, attracting dragonflies, both of which eat hundreds to thousands of Mosquitos a day WITHOUT killing all the other insects. I am not a customer of this company but my next door neighbor is and I am quite annoyed at the rudeness I just experienced. My family was outside at 11:30 this morning when the truck pulled up and one of the men told us “We need 15 minutes and you can come back outside”. My husband told them, “No, we need 15 minutes to get the kids and their toys inside before you start spraying”. My grandson is 4 and my granddaughter is 18 months. We are on year two of service by Mosquito Joe of Topeka-Lawrence and can't say enough positive things about the respectful, responsive and professional demeanor of the staff and technicians, let alone the effectiveness of the product! We have a foliage filled yard with a pond, and no bug spray needed thanks to Mosquito Joe!
