Friendly audiologist and doctor. Highly recommend
I came in for tosilitis and a deviated septum. I felt compelled to leave this review after my visit with the doctor. She lacked a serious bedside manor. She arrived after me and when she entered the office was clearly in a fowl mood, whatever I didn't think much of it. After entering the room she had an attitude/energy, as if I was a complete waste of her time because my tonsils were not inflamed at the time of my visit. Dr. Akervall was able to diagnose and treat what several other doctors could not. I was able to access care quickly.
We will follow Tara wherever she works. She is amazing, kind and professional in every way. My 94 year old mother has been seeing her for several years now to help manage her paper thin ear wax buildup. Though an uncomfortable procedure, Tara shares genuine expertise and compassion every step of the way. We are surely blessed by her and appreciate the care she delivers every visit to maintain my mother’s hearing acuity.
