Very disappointed. Trying to submit documents was a nightmare. Closings costs changed at least 8 times for us. My husband & I expressed some concerns over our appraisal as well as some of the underwriting. Also, why closing costs differed every time we spoke with Jamal. No one wanted to address our concerns as well as no sense of urgency with anything.
4 months of refinance incompetence... having to resubmit documents over and over again, for example being told they need last 30 days bank statement with each page stamped, signed and dated, then 5 days later needing another last 30 days bank statement stamped, signed and dated again.... Why? Then signing 2 separate pre closing disclosures and told 2 different closing dates only to be told that we’ll need to bring more money to closing and now the refi needs to be reviewed once again by underwriting... needless to say we hav... read more
Worst experience of my life! I highly recommend not using this company for anything. Incompetent is a severe understatement. No communication and complete lack of actually getting the job done correctly. I canceled my application after 4 months, easy refinance that should have been done in 3 weeks. Absolute incompetence!!
RecommendedI began with Mortgage Center over a year ago. I was responded to by a Mr. Hass Beydone.... now a manager there. In my 76 years of doing one type of transaction or another, including mortgages, and in different states, I have never met a more efficient and calming and reassuring person as Mr. Beydone. I have also always received assistance with all kinds of questions along the way from Customer Service representatives who answer the phone. Mortgage Center took Care of my refinance in a safe and timely manner during the Pandemic.
I had a great experience with Mortgage Center despite the COVID-19 issue. I started with Chris who helped me with compiling all the necessary documents and Laura who checked on me about once a week to keep me updated. The actual closing was held in my house with Katherine who went out of her way to keep the closing safe and sanitary. I would recommend Mortgage Center as a lender.
Terrible service with Andrew in regards to a divorce with ex buying me out. I assume since this isn't a new purchase his speed and expertise on how to handle a situation he seems to draw it out. I drove 800 miles for a closing he said would happen one of two days and now over a week later he has no closing date. He does not return calls when promised and every question asked he has to ask someone else since he cannot answer on his own. I would not recommend this company.
I work for Mortgage Center Title. Everyday I work with Mortgage Center on closing transactions. Such a wonderful, well organized group of dedicated folks to work with on closings!
I went through Mortgage Center because my credit union works with them. Wow! I have been so impressed with them since my first initial call. I spoke to Judah who was awesome. He walked me through the Refinancing procedure and was always there to help. My underwriter, Debby, was just as nice and helpful. Whether I reached out through email or calling, they both responded quickly. I so would recommend going through Mortgage Center for any home loan needs. If possible, ask to work with Judah and Debby.
