My son has been going to MPD for several years now. Since covid happened and now that the new male dentist is there my son won’t be a patient there anymore. The male dentist is rude, impatient, pushy, and shouldn’t be working with children IMO. Plus with the new covid rules, they leave you standing in the hallway for 30 mins like they did my sons last three appointments. Overall, our experience had been great with the Mooresville office until meeting Dr. Thome. He was condescending to both my husband and I on different visits and blatantly accused me of not putting something important on our child's medical history that was indeed on the form. He even had the audacity to wave the medical history paper in my face. RecommendedI took my daughter to her first dental visit, last week after MPD was referred to me a few months ago by a current patient. It was a wonderful experience. We had Ms. Megan and Dr. Kaitlin. It was clean, organized and safe, but they also made it both fun and informative. Ms. Megan explained all of the tools she would use to my daughter as well as what she was doing and why and Dr. Kaitlin explained what she was looking at in her mouth and why. DDS, David Thome was completely disrespectful and showed no compassion in front NJ of my 7 year old son. I have never experienced anything like this in my life and I am extreamly bothered by my visit. He became extreamly angry that I questioned him about wanting to prematurely extract two of my sons baby teeth. I knew that this was not the only option and CERTAINLY not the best option.
