This is the best restaurant in S California. From seafood to steak to accompaniments. Everything is cooked to perfection! A fab place to celebrate or just spoil yourself. Also ask for Bobby She's a hoot!!!
Wonderful steaks and sea food with great service. My only negatives are slightly high prices and very loud music on Friday and Saturday nights. Makes it hard to have a conversation. I would suggest putting up a door to lower the sound in the dinning room.
Now this is a steak 64 ounce tomahawk Steak bone in center cut ribeye only $130 ala carte at Monty's, shared with Javier and Maria. Loved every last bite.. the owner came out and cut the steak tableside
Dennis is my hero for serving clams on the half shell! Yum Yum Yum! The onion rings are the most enormous ones I've ever seen. They look like they are straight out of the outback! My sand dabs were delicious. The special of the day, zucchini blossoms stuffed with goat cheese and served with a jalapeño mustard sauce on the side was a delightful surprise! Monty's is on my top 10. Love the friendly engaging staff especially George! It's iconic, a good ole throwback that brings the best memories.
