Beautiful resort. Perfect location. Stunning views. Upscale accommodations. We told them we were celebrating our anniversary, they provided a lovey card, a gift card for dining, and a wonderful upgrade to a near oceanfront room. It was absolutely beautiful. We frequent Monterey a few times a year, now we have a new hotel we will be returning to. Thank you for a wonderful experience Monterey plaza Hotel & Spa.
The room was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. This is a top-notch property.
Not a good experience for the money. Our “balcony” was actually a shared terrace and there were cigarette butts and ashes on the chairs and ground outside even though it’s a “nonsmoking” property. Was told at check in there was free coffee service in the morning but then found the cafe was closed for renovation the next morning. The restaurant comped me a coffee but only after I spoke to three confused staff who gave me different answers about the mythical coffee service. Prefect getaway from home. Relaxing and felt so refreshing. This is a must at least twice a year. Treat yourself! All work and no play is not a fun lifestyle.
People could not have been nicer. The room was super clean. If I needed anything all I had to do was dial 0. We will be back.

We love the Monterey Plaza Hotel! We are locals, but love a getaway weekend near by. This is our families favorite local hotel. The service is great! So friendly and there if you need anything. Very clean, relaxing & the restaurant is great too. Our favorite bag area hotel! Highly recommend :)

We just spent four days at The Monterey Plaza Hotel, my husband attending the CalAct Conference there! First, my kudos to the the staff!! My husband is at conference all day but I on the other hand, am left to entertain myself. I have never been made to feel so comfortable at a conference before! From the front desk to the valet guys, the bell staff, to the housekeeping staff! The rooms are impeccable and ultra comfortable.
