Awesome Hotel, everyone was so friendly, and the room staff was great. Would definitely stay there again, if I have a chance to go back to Monterey.
I reserved a ($368.00) “city view with balcony room.” The room’s balcony is covered over with a tarp rendering no view. The balcony is filthy with dirt & rocks. I called the front desk and complained that this is NOT what I had in mind when I reserved and that at check in I wasn’t informed that the upgrade I reserved were not here. The attendant said. “if I would like to have another view she would charge an additional $50.00.” No apologies! Very Bad customer service! Outstanding hotel , pay the extra get a bay or ocean view . The views are magnificent, service is fabulous and the people so friendly and helpful . Restaurant’s a bit pricy and food average but theres so many other places nearby to eat Chart house , sardine factory are within 5mins walk . I hope to be back in the near future
We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! So very clean & very friendly! Scott & I will most defiantly be staying here when we go back!
